Cross My Heart and Hope to Die

My fabulous readers,

Welcome to Mrs. Mimi Teaches!  (I feel like there should be some hot background music or something while you’re reading this.  Feel free to hum a tune of your choosing starting now.)  Thank you for coming to see me, thank you for laughing with me, and thank you for learning with me.  (That last one was cheesy, but totally true.)  I promise that this website will only feature ideas, tips and products that I have TRIED MYSELF and think TOTALLY ROCK.

Have you ever gone to another teacher website and thought, “Someone hand me a bucket.  I need to hurl”?  Yes, some of them have great ideas or great tools but none of them have great style.  None of them consider the whole teacher.  None of them have a sense of humor.   I always found that I was disappointed with their overly cartoon-ish look (Do we really need to look at dancing cartoon pencils?), and the subtle implication that teachers just want an easy way out.  I wanted something that was stylish, (No macaroni necklaces, please.) entertaining, smart and REAL.

My promise to you is simple.  I, Mrs. Mimi, promise you nothing but top quality content, easy to use tips, engaging topics, and, as always, hilarious tales of teacher-dom all presented in an easy-to-navigate, stylish website.  I also promise to never sell any of your information to other d-bags who want to fill your inboxes with junk and to only associate myself with the most secure and commendable affiliate programs out there.
